Hi! I just wanted to email you about an organization that is doing some great work in the Mississippi Delta. The Sunflower County Freedom Project is an independent not-for-profit organization that invests in the education of seventh to twelfth graders in the public school system. They have achieved amazing results so far. Since starting in 1998, they have grown to serve nearly 50 students in a year-round program. Freedom Fellows score on average 25% higher than their peers and 100% of Fellows who complete the program go on to four-year colleges. Check out their website here: http://www.sunflowerfreedom.org.
