"I commit [to the Freedom Project] because it is fun. It is also a boost for college."

Students in Action

The Freedom Project pushes Fellows to think and act beyond the limits of their own experience and environment. We provide intensive learning opportunities that expand their sense of what is possible for them to achieve. Freedom Fellows do not simply dream -- they work, work, work to make themselves better young leaders.

From performing on tour to taking martial arts rank tests to creating their own blog and video documentaries, Freedom Fellows consistently must perform and achieve at a high level. True self-esteem does not come from well-intentioned rhetoric or catchy slogans -- it comes from genuine achievement. We demand a great deal from our Fellows, and they respond accordingly.
