Nick Allen, Executive Director
Nick Allen joined the Freedom Project in the summer of 2011. Mr. Allen is a native of Dallas, Texas and received his B.A. from Brown University in Public Policy and American Institutions. After college, he joined Teach for America as a 4th grade math teacher in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Mr. Allen teaches the Freedom Fellows reading and ACT Prep, but, come break-time, he schools them in soccer and scrabble.
Justine Moser, Program Director
Justine Moser is originally from the Great Plains of South Dakota. She was placed in Leland, Mississippi with Teach for America to teach 5th grade English Language Arts. Justine received degrees in English Literature and Theatre Arts from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and will be leading the Drama program as well as organizing SCFP’s programming. You can be sure that if you come to the Freedom Project with no energy, all you need to do is play one of Ms. Moser’s wacky acting games and you’ll be energized beyond belief!
